Pohorje is a medium-high mountain mostly covered with forest and sparsely populated with dispersed villages. It covers an area of ca. 840km2 and its highest elevation is Black Peak with 1,543m. It offers mountain bike tracks and hiking trails during summer and winter ski resorts with slopes for your winter activities.
In the summer, in addition to hikers and cyclists, a summer sledding and an adrenaline park on “Trikotna jasa” are also available for visitors. A circular cable car offers rides for hikers and bikers to Bellevue. Pohorje is full of mountain trails and paths used by mountain bikers and horsemen. Known primarily for winter sports and recreation are: Bolfenk, Bellevue, Areh, Three Kings, Ribniska koca, Kope and Rogla. In winter they are mostly used as ski resorts with some of the slopes artificially snowed.
